THE PROBLEM

As part of the due diligence process for the bank to provide loan facilities Close Brothers required independent valuations of specific ship types including both the current market value and a fire sale valuation.

Due to Maritime Service International's vast experience in vessel valuations, we were called in to assist with the valuation process.

OUR SOLUTION

MSI undertook a wide ranging review of vessels offered for sale similar to each of the vessels identified and prepared valuations supported by relevant comparative data and market analysis.

Using best practise (as in there was no better) and drawing from a wide range of sources (not limited solely to marine practice) the programme delivers practical advice and guidance to Owners, Managers and Captains identifying any areas were improvements could be made.
