Our story
Ian Biles is the company Managing Director who has had a long career as a Master Mariner in the Merchant Navy. This is where he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Our founder recognised a gap in the maritime market for experienced individuals offering excellent focused customer service.
With those core values in mind Maritime Services International was founded in 1992.

Our Group
Maritime Services Group is made of a collective of four distinct companies operating across a global client base from our headquarters in the United Kingdom.
Through these companies, we provide a variety of services including marine surveying, distance learning and bespoke on-site training courses as well as offering maritime film production services.
