Our History

After a long career as a Master Mariner in the Merchant Navy where he gained a wealth of knowledge and experience, our founder moved from his employment at Shell to found Maritime Services International in 1992.

As Maritime Services International moves towards its 30th year, it has grown from those small but highly skilled roots to a global company with representation in 37 countries.

It was the recognition of a gap in the surveying market for experienced individuals offering excellent customer service and top quality reporting that lead to the companies formation, it’s these same core values that have taken the company from strength to strength.

Whilst achieving this huge growth the company still strives to offer the most experienced people, providing the highest quality reports whilst offering first class service and great value to our clients.
